The idea is to get the photo perfect the first time. The less adjusting on Photoshop the better.
White light provides a much brighter environment for the studio, that is why the MD-06 is so popular as the fluoro light can be adjust with up to 6 lights available at one time, no amount of cloud cover will prevent you from taken a great photo.
The white light can show more imperfections as the picture can be much clearer than you expected, so please avoid using Auto White Balance on your cameras. If you like you can adjust your camera to the environment, it should be easier to adjust the warmth or tungsten setting as your object might look a little pale.
